Cambodia's economy is already heavily dollarised, and the NBC's Bakong system made digital payment mainstream early.
The NBC prohibits banks from dealing in crypto and unlicensed exchanges are banned; the country is largely FATF-compliant on virtual asset oversight but private stablecoins are unregulated — confirm treatment.
Where permitted, USD-denominated invoices settle in USDC with no conversion, since local pricing is already in dollars.
